The 10-day forecast remains steady: days in the 40's and night temperatures in the 20's. That's not warm enough at night to substantially remove a rather deep frost layer.
During this freeze/thaw cycle, the North greens remain closed. A soft layer at the surface with a frozen layer underneath is not a good scenario for traffic. So for the next 10 days or o, we will be on temporary greens on the North Course. The South Course remains closed.
Some of our seasonal staff have returned and they are working outside as the weather dictates. Our focus is on cleaning the stump holes from the tree removals associated with the North Course renovation. We are nearly complete with equipment refurbishment. I anticipate a late March or early April opening for both courses, consistent with the average of prior years.
