Update

2" of rain over the weekend and Monday has left the rough long and tough! Today is the first day we've been able to mow fairways and rough, we'll stay until we get caught up.

Herbicide applications continue this week and fairway deep tine aerification too. As summer staff arrives they'll spend a couple of weeks training and then we can get into a maintenance routine.

Annual bluegrass (poa) is seeding now and with the wet weather, green speeds may not be what we'd like. Growth regulator applications will help that and green speeds will be more "normal" in the next couple of days.
