Green Committee

Our last two Green Committee meetings were held on the golf course. The staff demonstrated how to change a hole location, mow a green, roll a green and other "interesting" agronomics. This kind of hands on training is beneficial for the members to see what we do and why. Congratulations to our Committee "volunteers" for stepping up and giving it a shot.

The Green Committee, under Chairman John Frasco will continue work on the North Course Master Plan as well as other routine course maintenance issues. The Committee is as follows:

Purpose:    The Greens/Grounds Committee is responsible for developing and recommending to the Board, a long-term vision for the courses and providing feedback to ensure proper maintenance and development of the golf courses and adjacent grounds according to that vision and the quality and competitive levels members desire. The Committee also advises and counsels Golf Course Manager as necessary and monitors pace of play. The Golf Course Manager has reporting responsibility to the General Manager/COO and coordinates with the chair
