Olivia Reagan Hillyard was born February 25, 2011. She is the daughter of Scott Hillyard who was an Assistant with Oakland Hills from 2001 - 2005.

Lily Madelyn Kranz was born on November 14th, 2010. Dad Todd Kranz was with us as an intern in 2002 and moved up to Assistant Superintendent. He left after the Ryder Cup in 2004 and is now the Assistant Superintendent at Woodhill CC in Wayzata MN

Scott Hillyard (class of 2006) has accepted the head Superintendent position at Hawthorn Woods Country Club near Chicago. Scott spent the last 3 years as an Assistant at Lakeshore CC under another Oakland Hills alum, Jeff Frentz, CGCS.

Lukas Phillips, current Assistant at OHCC will be leaving us for Branson Creek Golf Club in Hollister, MO. Luke has accepted the Assistant Superintendent post at this top ranked Tom Fazio course. It's a nice step for Luke and he'll be closer to home and family.

Jon Canavan, class of 2003 (here with daughter Josephine) accepted a new position last year with the Milwaukee County Parks. He is now the Golf and Recreation Turf Manager overseeing the golf courses with the county parks system.

Juan Gomez has been with us since 1999. He has served in several capacities on the golf course, most recently as a mechanic in our shop. Juan just accepted the Head Mechanic position at Northville Hills Country Club. Nice work Juan!

Eric Mann - OHCC class of 2008 - just accepted a new position in the lawn care industry as Territory Manager for Custom Lawn Care in the Kansas City area. Eric spent the last two years as an Assistant at Indian Hills CC. Eric is also going back to school at KU to get his MBA.

Victor "Vic" Morales left OHCC for greener pastures in 2008. Since then he has become a new father to Vivienne and also starts a new position June 26th as the Assistant Superintendent at Birmingham CC in Birmingham MI. July, 2010
Kevin Fortune left OHCC in 2005. He just accepted a new Golf Course Superintendent position at Glenmore Country Club in Keswick VA. Congratulations Kevin.

Ben McGargill is the Golf Course Superintendent at Wynstone Golf Club near Chicago. Ben started at OHCC as an intern in 2003 and was promoted to South Course Superintendent in 2006. Ben served us well during the PGA Championship in 2008 before moving to Wynstone in November of 2009.
Jeff Frentz left Oakland Hills in 2005 to become the Golf Course Superintendent at Lakeshore CC north of Chicago. Jeff was here during the U.S. Amateur in 2002 and was the South Course Superintendent during the Ryder Cup in 2004. After attending his 1st Cubs game at Wrigley Field, he abandoned a longtime allegiance to his Detroit teams ... and is now a die-hard Cubs fan. Way to go Jeff!!!
Andy Cross interned at Oakland Hills in 2005 and in 2008 became the Assistant Superintendent at Lakeshore CC north of Chicago for another OHCC graduate, Jeff Frentz. Andy recently accepted the Golf Course Superintendent position at Ravisloe CC near Chicago
