Tree Removals 2012

In conjunction with our Aesthetic Plan, Tree Plan and Golf Course Improvement Plan, the Board of Directors and Green Committee have approved several tree removals on both courses. All of the trees scheduled for removal were recommended, reviewed and approved by Rees Jones.

Most of these trees are conifers that impede or detract from the playability of the golf course or are trees interfering with healthy turf. Many of the trees are also in very poor health. A total of 50 trees are scheduled to be removed, weather permitting. The ground must be frozen so the equipment does not damage the golf course.
