Irrigation Pressure

The "heat dome" we are experiencing puts pressure on everything and everyone. The turf feels it and so does the irrigation system. A sophisticated watering system like ours is very reliable but it too is under enormous stress from the constant usage.

Recently, the VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) that operates the pump motors failed on the North Course pump station. Luckily, a reliable vendor was able to find a replacement in California, overnight ship it to us and had it reinstalled in about 36 hours.

We missed only 2 nights of watering and due to the pump stations capacity, we were able to catch up rather quickly.
