Fescue Seeding

The seeding rate for the new 'fescue' area is a maximum of 20#/acre. The 'book' rate is 40-60#/acre. We use a lower rate in order to keep the area as thin as possible, at least in the short term. We seeded #5/6/7 Friday and should see germination in 7-10 days.
