Winter Preparations - Irrigation

The South Course is closed to play as of yesterday, November 7th. The North Course will remain open to carts as weather permits.

We need 5 - 7 days to complete all of the winter preparations so we start next spring with healthy playing surfaces: todressing greens, deep tine aerification of greens, irrigation blowout, fertilizer applications to the entire golf course, fungicide applications to protect the turf from snow mold fungi, installation of green covers and leaf cleanup.

All of this work needs to be completed in good weather (no rain) so our window is very tight. The beginning of this week is dedicated to blowing out the irrigation system.



North Pump Station
