Whenever we make the decision to pull carts on either golf course it disrupts not only club operations, but also the schedules of members, guests and employees. The usage of the club decreases too and that has a financial impact.
There is only one good reason to prohibit carts: to protect the golf course(s).
We are close to the wettest September on record and we have restricted carts more often than in most years. It's no fun for us to eliminate cart usage ... and it's frustrating for members. But when necessary to protect one of the great pieces of property in all of golf, carts need to be restricted.
Thanks for your patience and understanding this week.
