Joseph Conrad and The Heart of Darkness it wasn't. But a few days "lost" in the San Juans and the Cascades to recharge the batteries was exciting. We summitted Arrow Peak but we got weathered off Mt. Shuksan after making it to high camp.

Luckily, I work for a great club that allowed me the time off to pursue my adventures!
