Most of our irrigating occurs at night between 9:00 pm and 4:00 am. On occasion, we water during the day to wash in fertilizer or as is the case today, topdressing.
Thanks to our new (2002) irrigation systems we are able to handle the current heat stress. One staff member spends all day every day checking and repairing the irrigation systems, assuring that our investment functions correctly.
