As you know, the weather has been almost historical. There have been wetter years for sure, but this spring is one we will all remember. Since May 1st we have received about 6.5" of precipitation.
Currently, we are not able to mow anything but greens on the South Course, including the rough. Today we are bringing out our "mothballed" walk behind rotary mowers, kept in a storage unit the past 2 years. If we cannot use the larger rough mowers on the golf course tomorrow, we will begin hand mowing fairway perimeters on Monday.
The North Course is slightly better. Carts are OK today pending any further rain events, although it too is saturated.
If the 5 day forecast holds, the staff will make the necessary sacrifices to get the golf course mowed and back in the condition you expect. Thanks for your patience.
