The irrigation systems, wells and the pump stations are now 10 years old. In addition to new roofs, we are in the process of refurbishing the pumps and motors in the South pumphouse. We'll do the North pumps next year. This will ensure that the pumpstations are running at maximum efficiency, keeping operating (think electricity) costs lower.
Between the years 1999 and 2004 we made an investment of over 2 million dollars on irrigation systems, wells and pumphouses. In order to make that count, we'll need to invest time and resources to keep the system current and efficient.
